"The objects and purposes of the Club are as follows: (1) to promote and encourage participation in the sailing and racing of all types of sailing craft on Darwin Harbour, surrounding waters and elsewhere; (2) to provide training and education in the use and operation of marine vessels and related activities, to foster marine safety and the preservation of the marine environment; (3) to participate in community activities relevant to the Club’s purposes; and (4) to provide and maintain Club premises and facilities for the members of the Club."
