Our Events Officer can help you arrange platters and a bar tab or a gala dinner, and our versatile space will cater to any style of function you have in mind. The Waterfront Bistro, our award winning kitchen, will help you design a menu that will impress your guests.
What's included in the venue hire?
- Supply access to the venue for all approved contractors and event organisers associated with the event.
- A dedicated Events Officer to act as liaison in managing your event.
- Access to Club premises and amenities during the function.
- Secured storage areas on the day prior to and the day following by prior arrangement (access to these facilities outside these times must be arranged prior to the event).
- The use of standard club tables and chairs.
- Car-parking as available.
- In-house music or the opportunity to engage private entertainers. It is a licensing requirement that all entertainment must be concluded prior to 12 midnight.
- Complementary chilled water.
- Standard bar pricing applies for all functions. Members discount is applied only to individual drinks purchased by members. Member bar tabs which are extended to non-members do not receive the member’s discount.
- Standard completion time for all functions is 12 midnight, unless by prior arrangement.

Larger functions may incur a function hire fee. To secure your function at the Darwin Sailing Club, a signed event contract and a deposit may be required.
